40 Years of Experience...
The Bicycle Center was originally opened in Fairfield. Some of you may know John, the original owner, who started up his fine shop in 1968. He found himself moving north up to Federal Road, Brookfield where he opened up shop in 1984 in what is currently The Bicycle Center as most know it.
Since then he has grown into a full service and sales shop. In 2004, the current owner, Shawn Emmerson, was made owner of the shop.
For Almost 40 years, The Bicycle Center has been providing top notch service, family bikes, and a friendly atmoshpere, and hopes to continue in the future.

We are localed on 612 Federal Road in Brookfield Connecticut. Just a quick left off the end of Super 7.Check out a map to get exact directions from your own house.
Store Hours
We are open for sales and repairs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Feel free to come down to drop off a bike in need of repair, pick up a red bull energy drink, or just to say hi.
Winter Store Hours
During the winter, The Bicycle Center is open on a more limited schedule, but all your needs can still be fufilled. The shop is opened 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and is closed on Saturday and Sunday
